BLUETOOTH
Bluetooth is a wireless communication technology standard to allow electronic devices can exchange data over a short distance and build up a personal area network. By using short-baud high-frequency radio waves to communicate over the ISM frequency band, Bluetooth-enabled devices can automatically detect/connect to each other and automatically break if the devices move too far apart.
WIFI
Wi-Fi is a wireless network technology based on the IEEE 802.11 standard which allows computers, mobile devices, or other electronic devices can exchange information without using any wires or transmission cables. With implement several different protocols defined by the IEEE 802.11 standard and the required machine-to-machine (M2M) protocols, it is the primary solution for convenience, cost efficiency, and ease of integration with other networks and network components.
LORA
LoRa® (Long-Range) is a spread spectrum modulation technique for Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) that offers features for wireless applications in long-range, low-power consumption and secure communication. LoRa® has a greater range than Cellular networks and can help designers easily integrate into different infrastructures with low-cost battery-operated applications.
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a system composed of a radio transponder, receiver and transmitter. By trigging an electromagnetic interrogation pulse from a nearby RFID reader device, the tag transmits digital data, usually an identifying inventory number, back to the reader. This technology helps the device read the information contained in a wireless device or tag from a distance without making any physical contact or requiring a line of sight.
GPS/GNSS
Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is a constellation of satellites that can transmit positioning/timing data to receivers from space and use the data to determine the accurate location. The worldwide GNSS systems include Europe’s Galileo; the USA’s NAVSTAR Global Positioning System (GPS) ; Russia’s Global’naya Navigatsionnaya Sputnikovaya Sistema (GLONASS) and China’s BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.
